Dermal fillers, injectable fillers, have been around for a long time.

When performed by a qualified and experienced cosmetic nurse, you will be in safe hands. At Pulse Aesthetics we can’t emphasise enough the need to do your homework before committing to any cosmetic aesthetic treatment, especially when treatment is on your face.

Your first appointment will be a thorough consultation, we’ll discuss what you want to achieve and the outcomes you can expect. We are realistic and honest in our assessments, if we think dermal fillers aren’t for you, we’ll tell you.

Our aim is to subtly enhance your appearance so you leave looking natural and refreshed. People will notice but will struggle to put their finger on why you look so good.

Our aim is to subtly enhance your appearance.

Having injectable fillers is a minimally invasive treatment with almost immediate results; smoothing out sagging skin, wrinkles and adding volume. The injections are small and most people tolerate the treatment easily, with results lasting around 6-12 months.

Care must be taken around the eyes and any blood vessels (that our nurse will locate).

  • Lips, midface, cheeks, lower face and jaw and the tear area around the outer eyes.

What do we need from you?

You’ll need to tell us all about any allergies you have, any medication you’re on and if you have any medical conditions. We ask that you follow our post-care instructions carefully to help achieve the best results.

What are the side effects of dermal fillers?

As with most procedures, common side effects may include swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness at the injection site. In some cases lumps or uneven results may develop. Get in touch and we’ll help put this right.

Infection or allergic reactions are rare but we will still discuss these with you. We follow up after our procedures and are available to discuss any concerns you have.
