We always follow up after our procedures – it’s an important part of your journey with us and your treatment plan. Because we know on the day itself you may have been a little nervous and after treatment more focused on getting home than on remembering every question you wanted to ask. Later on you might notice a couple of lumps or bumps you didn’t expect and want to know if you should be worried. Providers don’t always offer a routine follow-up appointment. This may be because it is assumed patients will make contact with any concerns.
But we know sometimes it’s simply nice to have that friendly check in.
So, our team reaches out soon after treatment
We go that step further. You can expect a call from one of our team a few days since you left us. It’s a good time to ask about any concerns you have, tell us how you’re managing your stockings and how quickly you’re getting back to normal activities.
We like to monitor your progress to make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
A follow-up appointment offered
At about the six-week mark, we’ll offer a follow-up appointment. This can be in person with the nurse or surgeon or over the phone, whatever suits you.

We’ll answer any questions you have and give you a good idea about what to expect as your veins fade over the coming months. Checking in helps give you piece of mind and keeps your recovery on track. We’ll also keep an eye on any risk of infection and how to manage it.
